The design perspective is called universal design. It suggests that a design of a product should be designed for all people, including all ranges of abilities, disabilities, ages, culture and so forth. Therefore, when designing a product, different people should get involved and provide different perspectives to the product, making it usable for everyone. Research and practice in the universal design make the designing environments more inclusive. In this case, the program, AccessComputing promotes people with expertise and perspectives with disabilities attending computing filed, from courses to internships. It built up programs for students, such as academics courses, hands-on experience, conferences, various workshops, industry and research internships and mentor and peer support.
